Catskill Boxing Club
Catskill Boxing Club was built around Cus D’Amato’s philosophy of fear, discipline, and controlled aggression. After the careers of Floyd Patterson and José Torres, Cus D’Amato worked in relative obscurity, refining his methods away from the spotlight. From this quiet gym, he developed fighters through strict routines, psychological preparation, and the peek-a-boo style—a defensive system centered on protection, movement, and precision.
It was here that Cus encountered a young Mike Tyson, training him patiently and deliberately for years before the world took notice. Within the walls of the Catskill Boxing Club, champions were shaped through mentorship, structure, and belief—transforming a modest gym into one of boxing’s most consequential proving grounds.
It all starts in the gym.

A must for any boxing head!
Great shirt. Huge Cus and Tyson fan so I knew I needed this shirt in my rotation. Any fan of boxing history will appreciate this one. I know when I wear it at the gym it always strikes up a convo with some of the older trainers. Can’t wait to buy more.
